The ‘OTN Systems’ company is looking for an experienced Sales/Business Development Manager to increase the ITS/Rail/Metro business of OTN Systems in the United States.

Open Transport Network (OTN) is a redundant fiber optic access and transport solution for Voice, Data, LAN and CCTV that has been installed worldwide in more than 70 countries.
Today, the ‘OTN Systems’ company is a market leader in providing its OTN private network solutions in Metro’s, Light Rails, Railways, Intelligent Motorways, Mines, Airports, Oil and Gas, Electricity networks and Large Industrial Areas.
Important customers in the USA are Amtrak, SEPTA, LA MTA, MDOT, PENNDOT, TXDOT and more.

With the new N50/N70 Ethernet/IP OTN products we further want to increase the business in ITS/Rail/Metro.

The OTN Systems Sales Manager will play a key role in convincing end customers, partners, consultants and system integrators of using the OTN solutions.

Function Description:

  • Realizing yearly sales volume.
  • Management and support of various partners.
  • Building long term relationships with end customers, partners, consultants and system integrators.
  • Commercial handling of the Sales Process.
  • Reporting to the OTN Systems Sales Director for North America.

Function Requirements:

  • Preferably East Coast based close to a major airport.
  • Detailed knowledge of Fiber Optic Transmission technologies for industrial private networks.
  • Experience in telecom network sales for ITS/Rail/Metro.
  • Regular short business trips within the United States.
  • Annual overseas trips to HQ in Belgium for sales meetings and other events.
