Embedded Software Developer
You will make an impact in the following way:
As member of the Embedded Software team, you will join a highly effective, self-organizing agile team that develops new functionality for the XTran platform. You will work together with project and product management, other development teams and the customer service organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test and maintain new and existing software in an embedded Linux environment
- Manage priorities and deadlines
- Keep technical knowledge up to date through self-study and training
- Participate in code reviews and debugging
- Introduce new software technology in the R&D group
Minimum qualifications:
- Master of Engineering, Master of Information Sciences or equivalent experience
- 2 years of experience in embedded software development
- You like working in an embedded Linux environment
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
Preferred qualifications:
- Experienced scrum master
- Ability to multi-task and manage tasks with varying priorities in an agile development environment
- Extensive knowledge of C++
- Strong analytical skills
- Extensive Python coding skills
- Experience in the different flavors of software testing
