OTN Systems will exhibit at SmartTransit USA, the dedicated strategic technology conference for North American bus, rail and metro transit agencies of all sizes. Focusing on how technology is integral to delivering a safe, reliable, cost-effective and sustainable public transportation network for the benefit of communities SmartTransit brings together senior level attendees.

SmartTransit USA will be organized in Baltimore MD, USA, October 24-25, 2017.

OTN Systems participated in the Middle East Rail 2017 exhibition, organized in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, 7-8 March. Middle East Rail is the region's largest rail conference and exhibition with representatives from the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia.

Danish railway infrastructure operator Banedanmark, a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Transport, has commissioned the first section of CBTC signalling on Copenhagen’s S-Bane commuter rail network. The communication-based train control systems use telecommunication between trains and track equipment to manage traffic and control infrastructure. This more accurately pinpoints the position of trains, thus increasing the efficiency and safety of rail traffic.
